About CAMC

Companion Animal Medical Center is an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited, state-of-the-art full-service veterinary center located in Carmel, Indiana. Founded in 1992 by Dr. Buzzetti, CAMC provides the best in health care and boarding facilities to dogs and cats. Our first priority is to keep your furry family members happy and healthy.

Built in 2006, the CAMC building was designed with your pets' health and comfort in mind. Each detail was thoughtfully designed to give you and your pets the best experience in the facility. The building offers cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment equipment, including a double surgical suite, double dental pod, digital radiology, intensive care monitoring, and advanced therapies. Six exam rooms, an open therapy area, isolated ICU care, full service pharmacy, and an in-house laboratory all offer the very best in thorough, convenient care for your pet.

Not only is the medical center functional, it's beautiful too: Dogs and cats have separate waiting rooms to reduce stress, and the facility is designed in soothing earth tones and warm wood to give an airy, open feel. The facility is the winner of the Carmel Chamber of Commerce Look Award for 2008, and was a contender for the national design competition for Veterinary Economics “Hospital Design Award 2009.”

Our Facility

Because of Dr. Buzzetti’s vast experience and his dedication to veterinary science, he created a clinic that was built with the pet’s best interest in mind. Each detail was thoughtfully designed to give your animal a pleasant experience while at our clinic. For instance, we have a separate cat and dog waiting room to eliminate unnecessary stress for your pet. Our hospital interior features soothing colors and warm wood tones and the building has an open floor plan concept to allow for openness throughout the hospital. This offers greater accessability to your pet which promotes better observation and care.

Our facility offers the latest in veterinary design, including a double surgical suite, double dental pod, digital x-ray department, intensive care monitoring and access to advanced therapies. The building has six exam rooms, a open therapy area, isolated ICU care, fresh air flow intake, full service pharmacy and an in-house laboratory for quick diagnosis. Furthermore, specialists are available for consult through telemedicine applications.
